Legislative initiatives have been submitted and in many cases, become the law of their respective nations, to preserve religious freedom and civil liberties.  some of these proposed laws rightly oppose the OIC and other organizations’ efforts to impose shariah, or the proposed laws properly oppose the OIC and other organizations’ efforts to limit the ability of law enforcement to counter jihadism.
