The English Defence League’s Road To Berlin

By Aeneas • on April 20, 2010

Our day started with the after effects of a volcanic eruption and a decision. We had committed ourselves to a meeting with our German allies in Berlin and were determined not to let them down. In any case, as time, distance, and discomfort have no meaning to the English Defence League (EDL) we decided to make the long journey by road. Thus we began our epic road journey that gave physical meaning to the EDL slogan “No Surrender!”

When we got across the Channel we realised that the GPS system that came with our hire car did not work on the continent. We found an old Cold War map in the car that still included the German Democratic Republic and armed with this relic we set off toward Lille and Brussels. Our journey took us out of France, across Belgium, The Netherlands, and most of the breadth of Germany. We arrived near the Brandenburg Gate at about 4am on the day of the demo after a 17 hour journey.

We met our German and Swiss contacts from Politically Incorrect (PI) prior to the demonstration which was due to take place near the Dutch embassy. There were about 200 members of the German Counter Jihad present at the demonstration. Speakers included Joachim Swietlik, Marc Doll, and René Stadtkewitz. More information about the demonstration can be found at the English version of the Politically Incorrect site. The initial draft of my own speech can be found HERE. At times the Germans at the demo spontaneously chanted E-E-EDL and later asked us to sing the ‘No Surrender” song.  A member of the EDL delegation was interviewed by a Dutch film crew who were making a documentary. It will be interesting to see the results. At the end of the demonstration a flag exchange took place. The St George’s flag of the EDL Portsmouth Division was exchanged for a German flag. I subsequently learned that this EDL flag was in fact the first one ever made. The recipient now has a genuine piece of EDL history. Swapping flags was much like the exchange of shirts after a football match and a fitting gesture of our new Anglo-German alliance.

A working meal took place after the demo which ended up taking the form of an Anglo-German mini conference. A wide range of areas of cooperation were discussed, and strategies for various joint activities were developed. The big result of the ‘Berlin Conference’ was a decision to organise an international demonstration. The intention is to attract the participation of people from all over Europe, and indeed the world, who are opposed to the spread of sharia. EDL is well known for its logistical and organisational abilities and it is highly likely that many thousands will attend this exciting and important international event when it has been organised. Activists will be encouraged to put a date in their diaries and spread the word shortly.

Governments in Europe and elsewhere in the Western world seem to be as deaf to reason as the British Government and apparently equally unwilling to listen to the voice of the people. We now have the opportunity to unite the people of Europe so that their voices are finally heard. The Counter Jihad and its Defence Leagues will continue to grow and develop in size, scope, and finesse so long as governments across the world continue on their destructive paths. Just as the EDL grew almost exponentially in a short amount of time, the global Counter Jihad will do the same but on a much more massive geographical scale. The international elite will finally open their ears when first tens of thousands and later hundreds of thousands join their voices to our own and stand united against the tyranny of sharia and the servile appeasement that makes it possible.

The international demonstration, when organised, will be an event of historic importance. Before it there was a conspiracy of silence from the establishment, afterwards it will be impossible to ignore the Counter Jihad. Be part of history in the making and resolve to attend the event once it is announced. See you there!

The continuing in your face attitude of Muslims and the quite natural opposition to Islam, is really beginning to frighten me.

Rev Patrick Sookhdeo in his most recent publication claims very persuasively, Muslim integration in the West is impossible. It is prohibited by the teachings of the Qur’an and the ministry of Muhammad. In these the Muslim is always regarded as superior to the non-Muslim.

Such a situation will lead to continuing and ever bitter invective hurled across the religious divide – Muslims vs others. This increasing hostility could lead to a third world war or civil war, has been brought about by the total ignorance of the political elite, who have allowed in tens of millions of Muslims into Europe, thus forcing people of totally different cultures to live together cheek by jowl – it is an unmitigated disaster. Far better for everyone’s safety and peace of mind, that Muslims live in Islamic countries, while Christians in Muslim countries are offered residence in the West. That way we can respect each other without the ever growing possibility of a general war or worse, a civil war, which will leave tens of millions of innocents killed, and eventual “ethnic” cleansing.

I think that there was similar reasoning behind the Peace of Westphalia in 1648: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peace_of_Westphalia
