Proposed Destruction of Local Heritage for the Sake of Multiculturalism: The Camberley Mosque Project
The planning committee has already voted in favour of the proposed project with politicians going against the recommendation of local planning experts. Surrey Heath Borough Council is a Tory local authority with 30 Conservative members out of a possible 40 seats. It is possible that the decision that is eventually made by the full council will resonate nationally. There is much concern about Islamisation in Great Britain and a great deal of discontent with the mainstream political parties on this issue.
If the decision to destroy a locally important landmark gets the go ahead then the damage to the Conservative Party’s election prospects might be significant, and this in an election year where they are reported to be now sliding in the polls. People will be asking the question of whether a Conservative government will be willing to stand up for the rights of non-Muslims and the traditional freedoms of Great Britain such as freedom of speech. In fact David Cameron does not really inspire confidence in this regard.
The message that would be sent out is clear, namely that it is perfectly acceptable to sacrifice British history at the altar of multiculturalism to meet the needs of a vociferous and assertive minority. Ever since 9/11, concessions have been made to Islam and Western cultural interests have been sacrificed and Western culture abused and undermined. If the existing building is not fit for the needs of the local Muslim community then they should choose an alternative site that does not require the wilful destruction of local history. Would such destruction be allowed if the new structure was a non-Islamic building? The attitude of the planning committee is yet another example of the favoured status that Islam now enjoys in Great Britain.
Perhaps attacking local heritage is the very reason that the site was chosen in the first place. There would be a certain symbolism in demolition and replacement of a local landmark with a purpose-built Islamic structure.
The political establishment seems determined to undermine Great Britain and its cultural and historic heritage because such considerations are not in keeping with, and are in fact an obstacle to, their plans. They have been undermining the political rights and freedoms of Britons and attempting to re-write their history. Those who object to their plans are accused of ‘hate-speech’ – that increasingly used tool to silence open and honest debate. It seems that Islamisation is the official policy of the current British Government as well as that of the entire mainstream political elite. If people are in favour of retaining British culture, heritage and values then perhaps they should consider not voting for the three main parties in Great Britain as such a vote would be a wasted vote.
